Inside Scoop: A flavourful coconut lime chicken recipe that’s ready in less than 30 minutes and using only one pan!

From my childhood, I’ve really been into Thai flavours. The combination of the herbs and spices, and the intense burst of flavours always felt like comfort food to me!

This recipe was inspired by my love of cooking simple, yet tasty meals. It’s for anyone who enjoys chicken, but is bored of that old-style bland chicken breast recipes which are sometimes hard to eat because they have the same taste profile.

Well, this Coconut Lime Chicken recipe is the ultimate taste changer. It’s a very easy and quick recipe that can be made in less than 30 minutes (including prep time), and with only a handful of ingredients. It’s creamy and juicy, and the burst of lime flavor you will get is super awesome.

How To Bring Out The Most Flavour with this Coconut Lime Chicken Recipe

As we will be making this dish on a skillet, the key to any skillet chicken is to get that good browning on it, and this comes when you first add the chicken to the hot pan. So, make sure to heat up the oil and ensure the pan is hot so you get that sizzling (but not burning) sound.

When you get some good browning, or let’s say coloring on the chicken pieces it further enhances the taste profile, because those crispy bits of chicken in the pan will make your sauce more rich and delicious.

What to Serve with Coconut Lime Chicken?

You can simply serve the Coconut Lime Chicken with some greens, steamed vegetables or roasted potatoes, brown rice or cauliflower rice (for low carb version), so you can take full advantage of that rich creamy sauce.

And if you have dietary restrictions, it’s good to know that these Coconut Lime Chicken Breasts are Whole 30 approved, Paleo, Keto + Dairy Free as well.

If you’re into those Asian flavours, then here are some other recipes to try:

I’m Soumyadip, and I’m the cook behind that originally began in 2016 as an idea to marry my two passions, great food, and Fitness (Gym-hahaha). Since childhood I was a larger kid, weighing 85kg at the age of 15. With a proper and balanced diet and exercise I was able to lose weight and improve my stamina and health. I believe that a well balanced diet + exercise + good sleep = a happy life!

Before my passion for cooking developed, I always used to eat outside because I thought that delicious chicken recipes we watch on TV were really difficult to cook. But then I learned that it's so easy to prepare those chicken recipes on my own at home, with whole and healthy ingredients and that's why I created my blog
