Inside Scoop: This homemade coffee scrub will help manage cellulite and make your skin feel soft and smooth.

When we first learned that coffee was a wicked skin exfoliant we didn’t believe it.

Then homemade coffee scrubs started getting trendier and trendier and we had to do more digging. It does make sense though, right?

The grounds aren’t too big to hurt the skin and aren’t too small to not make an impact. They’re literally the prefect size for exfoliating. Of course, we had to make a batch of this coffee body scrub ourselves and test it out. Not only did we find out that coffee is amazing at exfoliating but it does some pretty awesome stuff for the skin too!

This homemade coffee scrub is our favourite natural cellulite buster. All you have to do is keep it moist and rub on to your biggest problem areas. What essentially happens is that the antioxidants in the coffee, and the caffeine in the coffee minimize the look of cellulite short term.

Caffeine dilates the blood vessels, which can tighten the surrounding tissue. But not only that, but the ground coffee acts as a natural exfoliator, and it is incredibly cost-effective.

This homemade coffee scrub is not only easy to put together, but it smells nice, and is effective at reducing the appearance of cellulite. Follow your exfoliating routine with this delicious Whipped Shea Butter Moisturizer and you have a skin brightening, tightening and softening trifecta.
