We just read an independent study put out by EWG about oats and glyphosate. There were some brands that we have suggested to parents to give to their children as a healthier alternatives, that ended up containing high levels of glyphosate, an ingredient found in Roundup that has been classified as a potential carcinogen. CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER 5 INGREDIENT FUDGE
This 5 ingredient fudge takes 15 minutes, is healthy, vegan and gluten-free and is loaded with chocolate, peanut butter goodness.
Whisk coconut oil and coconut milk together in a saucepan and start to heat it over medium. Once melted, add in the cacao powder and maple syrup and whisk together over the heat.
Once mixed, add in the nut butter and thoroughly stir to combine.
Stir for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until the mixture starts to get thicker.
Remove from heat and pour into a parchment lined loaf pan.
Top with any optional topper of choice and freeze for 2 hours to overnight.
Remove from freezer and let thaw before cutting (or else you will get broken pieces).
Optional topper: organic peanuts, hazelnuts, coconut, peanut butter swirl, dark chocolate chips
