This berry salsa is loaded with fresh-picked berries, and mint leaves, but we wanted to make it more nutrient dense, and nourishing so we added hemp seeds, of course, because we have an affinity for them.

Hemp seeds are crazy high in protein, fiber, minerals and healthy fats. They have a creamy and buttery consistency, which puts them at the top of our list above chia and flax seeds. They are simply the best little seed out there (according to us). So yeah, hemp seeds are the bomb, and fruit is the bomb (especially when they have been chopped and sitting overnight in their fruity fruit juices), and then to top it all off… mint! So sweet, healthy, filled with antioxidants, fiber and utterly delicious.

Mint, Berry & Hemp Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cut berries of choice we used raspberries and strawberries
  • 1 tbsp mint leaves chopped depends on how minty you like it
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1-2 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • Dash of sea salt

Directions

  1. Mix everything together and serve.
