You really need to balance the flavours in order to create the delicious smoothie of your dreams, and sweetener isn’t always necessary if you do it right.

This Orange Avocado Smoothie recipe is perfectly balanced, contains a whole orange, greens, healthy fats from the avocado and a cream factor that you can’t resist.





Avocados are one of Mother Nature’s wonder foods. High in protein, heart healthy fats and antioxidants, they are incredible to use in your skincare regiment (whether consuming them or applying them topically.)

They also contain skin-protecting antioxidants such as beta-carotene, which becomes more readily absorbed due to avocado’s fat content.




Flax seeds and oil are one of the richest sources of Omega 3 and are very high on the anti-inflammatory index.




Oranges are high in Vitamin C and antioxidants, which help fight free radicals that cause accelerated aging. Oranges also have a very high Vitamin A content, which may help strengthen the protective outer layers of the skin, making them one of natures wonderful skin foods.

Skin Glowing Orange Avocado Smoothie

The healthiest and most delicious orange smoothie recipe that contains an antioxidant boost and healthy fats.

  • 1/2 avocado chopped
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1/2 cup full fat yogurt greek, plain
  • 1 orange whole, peeled
  • 1 cup spinach packed
  • 1 Tbsp ground flax
  • 1.5 cups filtered water
  • 3 ice cubes
  • orange slice for garnish


  1. Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Pour in glass, garnish with orange slice.

Recipe Notes

  • You can substitute the greek yogurt for keifer for more probiotic factor, or if you want a vegan option, use 1/4 cup raw cashews.
