Spicy, creamy and delicious all your wildest sauce dreams have come true. This 3 Ingredient Vegan Chipotle Mayo is by far the easiest concoction made recently that we’ve been drizzling all over everything.
What gives this mayo so much flavour?
It’s the chipotle chilis. You can definitely add in chipotle chili powder, but you’re not going to get that deep texture of flavour as you would with chipotle chili peppers in adobo sauce.
We use La Costena-Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce, which is usually readily available at most grocery stores in the Spanish aisle, and contains large chipotle peppers. Depending on the level of spice you like, you may only need 1. We used 2 and it’s pretty spicy!!
We also use Veganaise (we’re sure you’ve heard of the brand). We really love the soy-free version, because it’s made with simple ingredients, but tastes just like the real thing… which is a big deal when you live in a house with a Hellman’s addict.
Or, if you’re looking for a non-vegan healthy alternative, Chosen Food Avocado Oil Mayo is a great replacement and works perfectly with this recipe as well.

3 Ingredient Vegan Chipotle Mayo
- 1/4 cup vegenaise
- 2 chipotle chilis in adobo or use 1 for more mild taste
- 1 lemon juiced (3-4 Tbsp) or 3-4 limes
Add everything to a high powered blender or use a hand mixer and blend until creamy and smooth, and all the chilis have blended nicely.
