  • 32 oz. mason jar with lid for storage
  • 3 cucumbers
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2.5 Tbsp sea salt
  • 2 Tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • filtered water


  1. Make sure to wash/rinse the cucumbers well.
  2. Slice cucumbers in thin slices.
  3. Mix cucumbers, onion, sea salt and dill in a bowl.
  4. Add mixture into the jar.
  5. Pour filtered water to fully cover mixture.
  6. Cover with lid, but not tight - let it breathe.
  7. Let sit for 2-3 days on the counter, out of sunlight, then refrigerate with a tight lid.
