  • 1/2 cup berries frozen
  • 1/2 cup coconut water or filtered water
  • 4 Tbsp gelatin grass fed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup raw honey or cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric or 1/2 tsp turmeric depending on how sensitive you are to the taste

  1. ** I would definitely recommend reading the above 5 steps on how to do get these right. They will most likely turn into gummies no matter what, but those steps just ensure you're getting the best consistency with them.

Take the frozen berries and puree them with the coconut water in a high powered blender. Blend until they are smooth and as close to liquid as you can get them. You cana dd 1 Tbsp of water at a time if you need to, to get them to this point.
  2. If you are using a liquid sweetener, add to your pureed fruit, as well as the turmeric.
  3. In a medium saucepan add 3/4 cup of your fruit puree, 1/4 cup citrus juice (see notes for my favourite combinations), and if you need your blend to be sweeter, add sweetness as desired. Slowly heat this puree until small bubbles form, but not any hotter than that.

  4. Meanwhile, bloom your gelatin (see above in steps) by slowly adding the gelatin to water by whisking it together. Make sure there are no white chunks.
  5. Once bloomed and puree warmed, add the gelatin to the saucepan and whisk until all the gelatin chunks have dissolved.
  6. Immediately add to your moulds, or to a loaf pan that has been pre-oiled.
  7. Let sit for minimum 2 hours.
  8. I find the longer these sit in the fridge, the harder they get.
